KBU

070708’s my 1^st day back in school after slogging around for the pass 6 months!

Okok, it’s not really a school, although technically it is.. but whatever. I’m currently starting out in KBU. Yes, it’s not KDU, for those who have never heard of KBU. It stands for Kolej Bandar Utama. It’s directly opposite Centrepoint. And yeah, I’m staying in a hostel that’s connected to Centrepoint. So haha, I have a mine mall to lepak XD

I love my room. It’s a twin-sharing room and it’s spacious. And the best of all… I have my own bathroom!!!! My roommie’s from Tanjung Malim and she’s a nice and quiet girl. She’s here for A-levels. And that’s all I know about her for now, I need more time to get to know her. And yeah, she might be a little bit angry at me cos I abandoned her on the 1^st night… spend the night at my grand aunt’s place, playing mahjong while watching Wimbeldon Open finals, hee…

My 1^st day was orientation. After hearing speeches and many bla bla blas later, lunch was only for 10 minutes!! Then we had ice breaking session with the student council. It was really fun. We were split into groups and were told to name our group and create cheers. Naza, one of my teammate and also my FCA (foundation course for art and design) mate became our mascot and we had to dress her up with newspapers and stuff like that. Then we had base games and kinda like a treasure hunt. This whole thing totally reminded me a lot of rangers camp back in convent. Most of the people in my group are also in the FCA. Not really a big surprise, because the majority of the intake is from FCA.

After the ice breaking session, we had a short session of Ultimate Frisbee! Conducted by Terance, one of the KBU seniors, we were taught a lil about the game. Later, a bunch of us, including myself, were selected to play a few rounds on the field.

Came back to my room at 5pm. Had a bath and my mum called me. They were still in kl so they came to picked me up and went to my grand aunt’s place for dinner. Lyn che che bought dinner home and we had ribs, ommelette and my favourite Japanese tofu!! Yummmmmmmy… after that we had apple slice cheese cake from secret recipe, mum bought it. It was kinda abit too jelak for my liking..

At round 10.30pm, I got back to my room. Roommie wasn’t there. Maybe she went clubbing or something like that, hmm… anyways gotta go. Gonna try to get some sleep.
