Twilight (II) / Obsession

I have a addiction....

Ok, it's more like an obsession....

... at least it's a healthy one!

yesh.............

I'm talking about this evil thing:

evil evil evil

this.. thing... I couldn't get away from it. It kept me wide awake till almost the break of dawn.

... and i'm always hungry for more.

I've never been this obsess with books till i touched this book!!!

I watched the movie 1st, and it put me off entirely. When I got Brisingr and New Moon during Xmas, i started off with Brsingr 1st. I figured Twilight will be another chick flick-like story. It reminded me of the Sweet Valley days, haha. It wasn't until a few weeks later I decided to ask my friend to get Twilight for me. And the poor book sat among my paints and books on my shelf for another 2 weeks until i had time to sit down and get started on it.

That was when the obsession started.

It took me a week to finish Twilight as i was swarmed with exams and projects. And after that, i got hooked onto it.

The minute i finished Twilight, I quickly grab New Moon and started reading it (thank God I have it with me. God knows what might have happened, hehe)

It only took me only 2 nights to finish the 2nd book. And I didn't buy the 3rd one (darn!). I never knew I would be so engross with the saga. So I got my friends to check 1u, Pavillion and KLCC whether the malls were selling Eclipse. All these places doesn't have stock.

Damn.

As an addict, I did the most ultimate that brings all insults to books.

I search for the ebook on the web........ and it was in bloody SPANISH!!!!!!!!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

bahhhhh... but I did not give up. I kept searching for it. And I found my prize.

As i started reading, there was this little voice at the back of my head, saying "this is not right! it's illegal!!! and it's bloody 3am in the morning! you have class the next day!"

Feeling guilty, i switched off my lappy and went to bed. The next day, I tried distracting myself by reading one of Jeffrey Archer's Cat O'nine Tales. and I failed miserably. The night itself, I continued to read the ebook, escaping from reality and into Isabella Swan's world with her knight.

My sis got caught in this craze and she finished both books in 2 nights. To be honest, if it weren't for homework, I could have been in that situation too (now that is something to ponder about, hmm..)

I gotta say, Meyer certainly did a good job in writing this series. It really captures one's mind and pull them into this fantasy world. It made us all jealous to not have Edward Cullen in our arms.

As work pile is getting higher and major projects are approching soon, I'm doing my best to limit myself to a few pages a day.

Well, maybe a chapter... or two... hehe...
