There, I got it all out....

Enough for ranting, today's the day we had our group presentation for the narrative/animation video project! And it was fun! :D I'll tell you what each group has done...

Group A: Joseph, Siawlei, Tzepei & Munai
Their title was "It blinked and blinked again" and it was about a couple's lovey dovey story. Both of them were in the car when the guy had caused an accident, causing the girl to lose her sight. And the bf felt so guilty. And one day, the girl got a call to say that they found a candidate who could donate their eyes to her. And after she regained her sight, she noticed that her bf was blind. Yeah, sad and touching (but which guy would do that for the girl anyway ><) Nonetheless, the video was well done

Group B: Yinteng, Weidan, Kahhong & Danielle
Their title was "It began with a breaking glass sound". A ball hits a student's face and broke his glasses. He then missed the school bus and had to walk to school. On the way there, he walked into a traffic light and it fell onto a garbage truck. And the rubbish carrier thing fell on the poor student and he was reeked with rubbish. He continued his journey, only to have people throwing things at him because he was smelly. He grabbed the grandfather's clock (O.o??) that they threw at him.. and he threw it back at them, only to find out that he broke the school's window. Oops... Cute animation, their 1st time with Flash. Typography theme lagi, damn dahsyat...

Group C: Beishan, Pinky, Ahwen & Limliong
Their title was "Memory" with a theme "one by one, they appear". It's about this girl who's trapped in an empty box. Wandering around the box, she started to touch the walls. Suddenly, she was thrown into a fantasy land full of lollipops, a donut swing, and fairies. They made the set from scratched and then take pictures to combined with drawings and photos. Nice stop motion video.

Group D: Fatima, Ahkau & Carmen
They worked with the title "You can cut it with a knife" where instead of cutting normal things, they cut the human body parts, bleh~ their theme was funny and disgusting... obviously, lol. But it was an extremely funny video to watch. They took video shots and then re-edit in Premiere Pro, adding effects and such. By the end of the video, everyone was laughing instead of feeling disgusted. Ahkau was unhappy and felt.. well... disgusted by us :P

Group E: Michelle, Peirung & Seree
Their title was "What causes earthquake?" and it was based on illogical factors, like disco dancing would causes the earth to shake... or how animal stampedes would cause earthquakes. Or better still... working on assignments and all the re-dos we have to do. The trees that were cut to make our paper will cause the earth to be unstable and that causes earthquakes XP Hilarious video... and they used paper craft to make the whole video, which is totally awesome.

Group F: Meikee, Yiuyiu, Meiyuin
Yeah, we're the last group... again! We worked around with the title "One by one, They Appear". It is based on a student who's hungry at night and decided to order food online. When he realises that no delivery service is available after 12am, he bangs the table in frustration. And that causes a burger to suddenly pop out from the table. From there, one by one, more and more food appears and started dancing. We did stop motion with real things, as compared to Beishan's clay and Seree's paper.

Ms Tong Yin actually likes our sketchbook!!!! (thank god) and she was happy that we have recorded everything down in our sketchbook (credits to Yiu2 and Meikee!)

Our presentation ended with lunch together in McD. Everyone's tired out from this project, but I dare to say that everyone had a great time. And now I'm back in the computer lab, working on our next presentation this Saturday.

Urgh, can't wait for the month to end. One project down, few more to go til the holidays! :D
