The Real Deal

After being a stranger in a new environment for a few months,i guess it's time to really blog bout my experience in my not-so-new-sch-anymore, hualian ^_^

i had culture shock at first, after being used to having classmates from other races for 11years :P
i kinda felt left out, cos i suck at mandarin (hehe), and practically everyone (and i really mean PRATICALLY) speaks mandarin. but after awhile, i got kinda used to it. now i can speak a LITTLE bit of mandarin, thanks to my new friends ^_^

my class is currently famous for making all sort of sounds, haha. not many teachers are happy bout that everytime they enter to our class. and maybe it's because we also don't really pay attention (well,i don't :P) during lessons. man, i'm soooo gonna regret for not listening, later on in the year...during physics class, our teacher normaly comments that if we dont understand what he is teaching, then it is best that we go bio classes instead!

one thg i hate bout over there are the rules!!!!!
"pls pin your fringe"
"wher's ur permit to bring dat?"
"no, you can't tie ur hair this way"
"your sch badge is fading, pls get a new one"
"you're walking through the wrg gate!! you should use the one over there"
i was like...wat? i'm walking through the wrg side of the gate? what the... o.O
ooooookkkkkkkk............................

when i 1st stepped into hualian, i suddenly missed all my close friends, as ALL of them went off for colleges or scholarships. my not-so-close frens bac in convent now became my close friends, lolz. but after a few weeks, i started to make friends originatedly from hualian. i used to shy away from guys and was scared to talk to them (don't ask me why, cos i don't know myself either :P) but now most of my new friends are guys. and boy, they are sure a bunch of crazy people that makes you laugh til you can get stomach pain!!

i thoght life in hualian's gonna be tough. new environment, new faces....new canteen (nooooooooo). i actually cried, cos i was so so so afraid that i couldn't fit in. the thought of leaving ur friends that had been beside you after all these years...and being in the comfort zone for 11 years..it was kinda hard for me to swallow all that down.

but guess what? i was so dead WRONG. turns out, the people over here are friendly, nice, and they can really go siao with you. sure, the rules' abit on a stupid side, but i can live with that. and the food over here ain't that bad either! they actually sell chee cheong fun!!! the teachers are nice, and willing to help and guide you anytime.

life in hualian ain't so bad after all... ^_^
