Gathering

tonight was pretty exciting. late this morning nicole sms-ed me to inform me about a gathering she's organising at 8pm at prima cafe, the high class kopitiam where prices burn your pocket through. i got there at about 8.40pm since i had made plans with other friends earlier on. i was driving and when i turned at the corner, i spotted this myvi in front of me. i figured the driver was a lil lost, since the car stopped smack in the middle of the road. it signaled to the left. then to the right. finally the driver decided to go left and turned into a parking space. i happily just took the nearest spot on my right and parked. while walking to the kopitiam, the myvi realised it was in an illegal spot and had reversed out. damn, this car is so blur, i thought to myself. as i walked pass the myvi, i heard a soft tap comin from the myvi. i looked and what do you know: nicole was in the car! and then i saw the driver was jien, her bf. i laughed to myself. he's not from taiping, so i guess getting abit lost and confuse in taiping is acceptable.

i walked in to the kopitiam and peered around. no one i know was around yet. but earlier on jo sms-ed me, saying that she was the 1st to be there. as i took the stairs to go up, i bumped into ching sien. i just said hello and went upstairs. i saw jo at the far end. as i approached her, i looked out of the window and saw that the poor myvi is still trying to park, haha.

knowing that many people will be there for the gathering, jo n i went downstairs to grab a bigger table. sat opposite jo while nicole, annie, jien and this dude i don't know appeared not long after. i didn't know who jien [i've just seen him in pictures] and the oder dude were, i told annie to introduce, haha. turns out the mysterious dude was beng soon. the name didn't clicked in my small brain.

annie: he's sgi's debater
yuin: *blank stare*
annie: there.... ann jie's opponent
yuin: *blank stare*
nicole: he's chuah phaik ling's brother
yuin: ah, i know chuah phaik ling!! don't know chuah phaik ling's brother though
nicole + annie: *stare*
yuin: :D

soon after, a bunch of sgi peeps came over. and then more came... bla bla bla... jia foong and jan win appeared.. bla bla bla..

haven't seen jiafoong in a long while. didn't talked to her that much cause i saw a bunch of my ex-hualian classmates standing outside. when out to have a small chat with them and went back to the table. more of bla bla bla, suddenly jo said something about someone who looked like mayli. i turned around and found myself staring at lay kim!! i missed her so much. i quickly went over to talk with her. then tyan shin and bee choon came in. i was so happy to see them! since the STPM result, i haven't seen them. beechoon and laykim will have each other when they are heading to UMT [comp mathematics and sains gunaan: fizik instrumentasi respectively (wth??)]while tyanshin's going to UNIMaP [mechanical engineering!]. later on yentheng came and i chatted with her.

after that, i said good bye and went bac to my place. i plopped myself on my seat and suddenly i realised that jess' sitting right opposite of me. "as far as i can remember, jo didn't looked like this," i told annie.

it's been like what... 2 years? since i've ever spoken to jess. occasionally saw her on msn. other than that, i've totally lost in contact with her. but it was really fun to spend time with her once more. she was telling all sorts of stories: from her sister-in-law givin birth soon, to experiences of driving in kl. "ah, yes... and mega sale's starting on the 5th yeah :D " ok, that was so random of her, haha... god, that really made me realised how much i missed her.

later on, sonter and his daddy~ walked into the kopitiam. went over to have a chat for awhile. suddenly my sis called me and i had to excuse myself. after that i went back to my table and talked abit more. because i had to meet up with aimei later on, i had to leave a lil earlier. on the way out, talked to zhei looi and sin yee. sinyee will be heading for NTU while zhei looi for uum [i think] for stats. dropped jo back to her place and stayed there for awhile and leeched each other off for movies and tv series. after that went over to aimei's and stayed for awhile. she'll be leaving for sunway tomorrow morning, just like everyone else who will be studying in the public unis.

when i came home, reality kinda hit me and i started crying. how silly of me, lol...

till next friday, i guess this will be the end of this chapter of my life. and honestly, i can't wait to write a new one starting on the 7th of july :)
